Flamenco Dance Technique - Open Level

Saturdays, 12:30 - 1:45, $135

This class will be open to all levels of flamenco students. The class will involve flamenco technique exercises that will be used to solidify hand, arm, body and footwork technique. The class will be taught in a way such that all levels of flamenco students - from beginner to advanced - will be able to benefit from the exercises taught in class. This class will also help the students build endurance and strength in order to solidify thier dancifng technique and ability to dance choreographies. If there is enough interest in this class, a second class may be added during the week.

Flamenco Dance Choreography - Beginner Level

Saturdays, 2:00 - 3:15, $135

This class is open to any students that have taken previous flamenco classes either with myself or with another teacher. If you have not taken classes from me before, please contact me and we can discuss the suitability of this choreography class for your dancing skill and level. The flamenco dance form known as Alegrias will be taught in this class. The amount of choreography taught will be based on the learning pace of the class.

Introduction to Flamenco Dance

Saturdays, 3:30 - 4:45, $135

This class is open to students with little or no flamenco dance experience. Students that have previously taken flamenco classes with me may be involved in this class as well, if they want to work on solidifying the basics of flamenco dance technique. For absolute beginners, remember that no partner is required! If there is enough interest in this class, a second class may be added during the week.

Cost

$135 per course, for the full 11-week session

Drop-in rate $18/class

NOTE: Payment is due on the first day of class. Payment will be accepted in two forms:

1) Cash/Cheque for the entire 11-week program: $135/course

2) Post-dated cheques: Septmeber 24 $70, November 5 $65

All classes will be held at the Hispanic Arts Society downtown:
